The Steam sub is a one time only payment, so it will expire at the end of the term with no recurring payments afterward. I searched a little more and I'm finding conflicting information on whether a Steam SWTOR "subscription" is recurring or not.

With the F2P announcement, I have no desire to continue playing SW:ToR, and logged on specifically to cancel my account. Go to your name at the top right, click on it, click my account, click subscription on the left. Do a word search for: "If you wish to choose the Free-to-Play option you can" and if you're on the right page like I linked, that should show up. It appears there is no subscription to cancel, it disappears when no subscription and the sub types all say "buy now" instead of one being ticked. , 04:54 AM

What i did was to go ahead and sign up on the SWTOR website …
On the 30th-31st July.
I have called their support probably 6 times and have sent them screenshots 4 different times from different emails. I did, but the email for the thing is all "This is a recurring subscription and you will be charged again if you don't cancel before it ends." |, 01.18.2013
